In March 2011, Japan underwent a double disaster whose marks it will bear for generations to come. Since then and for a year, the artist recorded a film daily from her home in France. Four hundred ninety six sequences were shot using webcams placed by anonymous individuals everywhere in the country. They do not show the country’s hardships – only the time that passes between two earthquakes, between two incidents. This first episode of the series makes a sort of haiku, with three places and three different times, but experienced live by the artist from her home.
