Augmented reality on mobile phone
Metro-next is an augmented reality project for mobile phone. It is a tribute to the Metro-Net project of Martin Kippenberger. The artist built metaphorically connected metro entrances in several cities of the world.
In its first version presented in August 2011 at the Little Berlin gallery in Philadelphia, the project connected Lausanne and Boston to Philadelphia. Two poems visible from Philadelphia are placed in the augmented space of Lausanne and Boston. Poems overlap the architecture of symbolic places such as the Old State House of Boston, which played a major role in the history of the USA.
