The artist has created a vector graphic from a photograph with the aim of blurring the border between both media. The minute reconstruction work of the photograph using graphic design is a performance itself, since it took the artist about one hundred hours to attain this result. This creates a temporal dichotomy between the extremely short exposure time of the photograph and the long hours needed for the creation of the graphic. Généreux Street shows a street typical of Montreal and North American cities. For the artist, this is behind the scenes, the backstage of the city’s life.
